Natasha Frost is an HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist and Dramatherapist. She qualified first as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1997 and then as a Dramatherapist in 2006. Since 1997, she has worked with young people and adults within the age ranges of 18 months up to 108 in a variety of settings.
All of the clients that she has worked with have had different reasons for coming to see her. What has been common in all cases is that their difficulties have blocked them from actualising their full potential and making fulfilling connections with others in all aspects of their lives
The combination of both her SLT and Dramatherapy training enables a more holistic, creative and flexible approach to her clients depending on their individual needs. This may mean that with one client a play based and more indirect approach is utilised and with another a more practical, structured approach is felt to best meet their needs.
In recent years, Natasha has worked mainly with people diagnosed with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder), Learning difficulties and SEBD (Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties). She specialises particularly in working with children, young people and their families but also has many years of experience in working with older adults also.
She is also trained in The Listening Program and is involved in a regular practice group training in DvT (Developmental Transformations).
