Client access to the counselling psychotherapy rooms is via an intercom at the street door and doorbell to the practice.
The practice is run to facilitate 50-minute counselling and psychotherapy sessions so that counsellors and psychotherapists can then be available to answer the intercom to their arriving clients. Whilst there is a waiting area there is no reception.
There is a unisex toilet and hand washing facility for exclusive use by clients, counsellors and psychotherapists.
The kitchen has facilities for the making of hot and cold drinks with tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. There is a small area for counsellors and psychotherapists to sit and eat. There are numerous cafes, restaurants and take away places in the area.
There is a storeroom available for the use by counsellors and psychotherapists. Your art materials, sand trays, etc. can be stored between bookings. A flip chart stand is available.
Comfortable stacking chairs are provided for group and training bookings.
The practice has wireless internet access which should provide sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing (skype).
Access to the practice is by voice intercom allowing counsellors and psychotherapists to identify clients before allowing access, there is then a secure door at which the client can be identified before entering the practice area.
Counsellors and psychotherapists have a key to the street door and a unique access code to enter the practice (a deposit is required at the time of booking for this key).
There is no lift in the premises, and as the practice is on the second floor, disabled access is restricted.
