The Practice at The Angel Islington

Counselling and Psychotherapy Consulting Rooms

Frequently Asked Questions

Renting a room with us

How does renting a counselling room at the practice work?

Rooms are rented in 5 hour blocks on an on-going basis, as morning (7am to 12pm), afternoon (12pm to 5pm) and evening (5pm to 10pm) blocks. We also rent rooms on an add-hoc basis to those with an initial block booking. We organise rooms in this way for therapists who are looking to build their practice and have an office space with consistency. The space allows for seeing clients in person and also online.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No. Rooms are booked on a regular, ongoing, monthly basis. There is no fixed-term lease, but we do require a full months notice for termination.

What qualifications or insurance do I need to rent a room?

You will need proof of qualification (or evidence of being in training, where applicable), a copy of your current professional accrediation and professional indemnity insurance.

What's included in the room hire fee?

Therapists have the use of Wi-Fi, a waiting area (we do not have a receptionist) and kitchen facilities with teas & coffees.

Is the building accessible?

The practice and the rooms are on the second floor with no lift access.
